What should I do if I'm not sure which major to pick for college?
What should I do if I'm not sure which major to pick for college? Or if I don't quite know how colleges and college classes work? I'm only in 11th grade but I'm worried about going into college.
I'm feeling a little lost about starting my career after college. There are so many options out there, but I'm not sure which one is right for me. I'm interested in a lot of things, but I don't know how to turn those interests into a career. How can I figure out what I want to do with my life and start working towards my goals?
I'm a little overwhelmed by the idea of starting a career. I know that I want to find a job that I enjoy and that pays well, but I'm not sure how to make that happen. I'm worried that I'll end up in a job that I hate, or that I'll never be able to find a job that I'm passionate about. I'm also worried about the job market and whether there will be enough opportunities for me. Do you have any advice on how to navigate these concerns and find a career that's right for me?
I don’t know… I am lost… What do I do? I’ve hit my all new low.
A few days ago I felt like I’ve hit my all new low… I don’t know what major to do in college nor do I have a interest in any majors or what college I want to go. Despite going on many college tours in-state (Massachusetts) and out of state, all of them stood out to me, but I cannot choose one because they have great benefits in different areas. In the end of the college searches none has really grabbed my interest, I just thought it was like High School 2.0 with harder classes and more responsibilities. Not only college have lacked my interest but my major and career goals. I’ve done some shadowing and summer programs over the summer to see what I like, but from business to working at a hospital, I did not feel that click or attachment in any of those fields. I also took a Real Estate class with a friend to see if I do like it, I do like it, but I don’t feel the drive or passion like the other programs/shadowing. I just feel lost about my future career or what I even want to do. What do I do? Should I take a gap year to further figure out? Or should I go into college undecided? I am open to any advise or comments.

Should I go into the medical field or become a writer?
I've always loved writing, but I've also always loved helping people. One of my goals in life is to have a lot of free time and freedom with my money, but I know I would only get one of those by becoming a doctor. I wouldn't have a lot of free time as a medical student and I'd work long hours as a medical professional, and I'm not even that good at Biology. But on the other hand, I've always been good at writing, and I've already published a book at a young age. Which is the best option for me?

what should are some things I should look at for careers to be financial comfortable?
I am 17, I am a junior at Rock hill high school, I just recently moved here and practically just started fresh. I am not even quite sure what I want to do as far as after I get out of high school. I already have a job but that's really not a career. so long story short is what are some things I should look at? here in rock hill their is so just so much more, I came from a small town so we didn't really have this many choices. my main thing I want out of life is to be successful and get that bread. chase after the people and things I want in my life. kind be able to be my own author as far as picturing my life.
Is it normal to start work before signing a contract?
It freaked me out because a few days ago, I received an email notice that I was accepted to a job position that I applied for, but right after that email notice, there was another email giving me instructions for my first assignment and telling me that it needed to be completed within 48 hours. I should also mention that this job is 100% remote and online, and I would be considered an independent contractor, not an employee, were I to take the job. But that's the thing - I read the contract, but I have not signed it yet because I don't have a good feeling about this. I find it strange that I was expected to start work as soon as I was notified that my job application was accepted. Aren't you usually given the option to formally accept and/or decline the job? It's like they automatically assumed that I would accept the position just because I applied, and while normally that's true, I'm not sure if I want to take this job anymore based on the series of events that unfolded. I admit I don't have much experience with jobs since I'm just a college student, but I don't feel that this is normal procedure, is it? #job #job-questions #work #work-questions #contract #independent-contractor #college-student #confused #advice #job-advice #career-advice #help
Everyone says I have so much potential to do serious jobs (e.g lawyer) so I need help from you.
As I am always top of class and like learning new things, my family says I’d be good for serious jobs like being a lawyer that will get me lots of money. I agree with them as top paid jobs are in this field. But at the same time, I want to be a dancer, actress and a model for my passions . whereas law gives a guaranteed rich life, which is what really want. BTW I had to put I’m in USA because the option of the UK wasn’t there. #law #career #business #everyone #confused #life #money
How do I pick just one career path?

I want to pursue a career with animals. Help?
For all my life I wanted to work with animals. However I don't know exactly what to do in it. Sometimes I wanted to be a host on an animal show just like Steve Irwin or Coyote Peterson. Sometimes I want to be just a simple wildlife conservationist. Sometimes I just want to work at an animal shelter/sanctuary or zoo. Also I need scholarships for it. I applied for many scholarships but I haven't won any of them. Any tips for my career choice and scholarships. #wildlife #animals #zoology #scholarships #career #zookeeper #conservation #college-major #job #university #low-income #grant #dogs #animal #career-choice #confused

I don't know what to do.
I'm not really sure what to do for college, I'm a junior in high school and I'm pretty lost. I don't really have any ideas in mind, although I spend a lot of time on my laptop I don't see myself liking a profession based on technology ( I've researched about computer science, programming, etc. ). I researched about being a teacher as well but came to realization that I'm not really as devoted as others to be able to stick with a job like that forever, on the daily. I'm pretty lost, can someone help me? #help #confused #lost
Is it okay to continue a medical course even if you are not passionate about it?
I have been studying Dentistry for 2 years in University now. I know I can finish Dentistry if I persist and carry on. But Dentistry just takes so long, and it exhausts me mentally, emotionally, and physically. I know I can get another job after I finish this degree, I am just having my doubts that maybe I am not fit or good enough. I do not know if the passion will grow in me. I am not quite sure if I am on the right path, or what path I would take if not. I just need some words to clear my head from overthinking. Life is clearly unpredictable. #careerpath #college #dentistry #confused #lost

I am a university student studying in Hong Kong. My major is urban studies, which is about issues in urban design. However, I have poor performance in academics and low GPA. For my working experience, I have worked as part time assistant in heritage organisation, property management intern , which is not quite relavant to my major. How do I decide what I want to do all my life?
I've always had several different interests that don't relate to one another necessarily. I'm interested in writing, music, psychology, dermatology, being a public figure, acting, and art, among several other things. The thing is, I don't like one any more than another. Doing all at the same time is what would make me most happy, but I'm unsure of how to go about that. Also, in terms of schooling it seems impractical, especially when it comes to money. I want to do a lot of things at once, otherwise, I don't want to do anything at all. What should I do? #writing #music #psychology #dermatology #public-figure #acting #art #confused
