How did you write your essays?

I want to know what specific details I would need to include to make up a good college essay. For example, would I need to keep it third person or should I try to maintain formality with a first-person point of view?

As a non-native English speaker, I found it difficult to show instead of tell in my writing. Despite my efforts to improve by reading, I still find it challenging to express my thoughts and ideas effectively. I am interested in creative writing. I would appreciate any advice.

I'm not entirely sure what I want to do for my future but I'm leaning towards film and/or fashion. Though, I'd really like to go to an Ivy League.

Will college be very different to High School?

I am a freshman in college, currently majoring in English. I love to write, especially fictional stories. I also love interior design and would like to learn how to get my foot in the door with both of these careers.
