College Student deciding whether to pursue additional vocational training after college.

I'm saving up for college, and for other necessary things. I'm looking for something flexible that can allow me to do my school work, chores and sports.

I am currently applying to Educational Counseling Masters Programs in California this cycle!

What would be best? Finding part-time/full-time positions, joining professional organizations, volunteering, etc?

Also, how do I go about studying for the DAT? If I struggle with math, what should I study for the quantitative reasoning portion of the exam?

I specifically am interested in going into the film industry and for the most part people say the biggest thing is to know someone. I want to know any other aspect of this industry is overlooked but helpful when trying to land a long term career.
