How do you find a lifelong career that you will love and be passionate about?
I'm still young, in my early twenties asking for advice or helpful insight on finding the right path for me. I'm currently enrolled in a Jobcorps Center and am pursuing Pharmacy technician and or other trade work training. I have several small interests that I enjoy but none that I feel confident building into a lifelong career. I graduated from high school during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, and I feel it's stunted my growth into a career. I'm interested in STEM, Language studies, Anatomy Physiology, forensics, Physical fitness, Chemistry, Woodworking, and Medicine. I'm artistic and investigative and wish to do a career that I find challenging and rewarding. I've traveled to Europe, Studied French in southern France, and interned as a sales associate in Ireland with a Designer Exchange Company; all of which were wonderful experiences but I'm unsure how to turn them into a career for my future. So how do I narrow down my interests into a career I will find fulfilling in my later life?

What is the best language to learn as a beginner to becoming bilingual if English is your first language ?
I am a freshman in high school the end of the year is this Thursday, the last day of school. I decided to learn a new language over the summer since I would like to become a nurse or travel nurse, or just something that allows me to help others as much as possible. However I have struggled with keeping a consistent schedule for learning the languages I really want to learn and some of them are a bit complex so I was wondering what language I should start with before I move on to the languages I really want to learn. The languages I have previously tried learning are Korean Spanish Thai and French. Those are just some I have tried, I want to learn more but those are the ones I want to start with.

Technology, International, French language, where does it all fit together?
I have only ever worked in the IT field since I was in High school. I am getting an international degree with a focus in MIS Global IT leadership and Management. I learned intermediate level French in France and Canada. I can finish my degree in December; or I can postpone it a semester and go back to France to learn more French. I am still feeling lost on where I can go from here. the world is in a chaotic state right now and I could just spend the next few years abroad doing my own thing; learning a new language. or I could take advantage and try to set myself up for the future. but I'm not sure where I want to work, or what specifically I want to do. I want to do something abroad; I love interacting with new people, new cultures, and learning new things. Are there any industries/countries that are starting to surface that you're seeing; that would be worth taking a look into? #technology #international #foreign-Languages #business #grad #postgrad #help #thinkTank #abroad

Will these college classes work during admissions?
In my high school it is not required to take a foreign language class to graduate, so as I am ending my junior year I have never taken any. Unfortunately, most colleges I want to apply to require two years of a foreign language to apply. There is a dual credit program between my high school and a local community college. At the community college they have both a French 1 and French 2 course. The only issue is, they cram it in and each course is only a semester long. Will this work as the two-year requirement for admissions since it two levels of the language or am I out of luck? As a senior next year, is there anything I can do to get these two years? #college-admissions #requirements #foreign-languages
