What are the best west coast engineering schools and how much does that really cost? How much money will i be spending on my degree?

I'm mostly concerned that I am not pacing myself correctly for the future and that I will not be prepared enough for it. I'm mostly scared that I am not financially prepared enough for life after college.

I’m considering starting at a community college for the first two years to save money before transferring to a university. Since I hope to pursue medicine, I want to understand how medical schools view this path and whether it affects competitiveness.

I feel like everyone around me has their college major picked out, but I have no clue what I want to do. I'm also worried that I won't be able to survive properly after I move away from home.

I can only find two schools that offer this as a master's.
