What certifications or skills should I focus on to stand out as a cybersecurity intern during college?

I’m 17 senior in highschool , first kid to go to college

I've tried many things but have no luck, kinda winging everything, and the grades show. Trying to see if there's something I haven't thought about or a new approach to an old method.

I am a college junior, and so far, my grades have been either average or below average.
