I am a sophomore in Pittsfield searching for a good career

I've always loved the outdoors and freshwater life, what paths should I take to implement this into my career in the future.

My main concern is if I need to go to college for any careers I want, which would be freelance illustration (aka taking commissions for a living) or working with animals, like pet-sitting or working/volunteering at shelter(s), and if these would pay well.

I'm a junior about to be senior in high school and my ideas for a career has changed multiple times. Im now interested in psychology but I have no idea where to start. Id like to stay near New England so any recommendations would be great. Thanks!

How hard will it be to get a Engineering Job after College/ University after 4 years ?

Art and math are my favorite classes so I want to find a way to combine them for a career.

How long do Mechanical Engineers take to create a plan to create an object or etc. ?

I'm not exactly sure when to apply to colleges, or if there is a best time to apply?

I am interested in going pre-med, however I know getting into medical school after can be very challenging. My worry is going through the pre-med program, and not being able to get into med school, if that were to happen, what careers could i take on?
