What is the best way to start your acting career? I've been trying to get into acting for a while, but I have no clue how to start getting paid for it.

I'm a freshman and my parents want me to look for colleges but also want me to look for colleges that won't make me school broke.

There are few to no modeling agencies in my area, and if there are, I have no idea how to find them. Any tips?
