I recently landed my first job after months of applying to different places. A lot of people keep telling me that it will be easier to get jobs after I have previous work experience to put on my resume, is this true?

As of right now I am between orthopedics and pediatrics. But I am still not sure that it is what I want to pursue, any tips?

Ive always struggled with answering what exactly i want to do with my future. I dont really have a set goal in mind with what i wanna do i just know that it has something to do with Arts. I also have a great passion writing and journalism which is a career im thinking of exploring too.

I'm a 18 year old senior student soon going to college at Bloomsburg Univeristy and will be on campus dorm with a roommate that I don't know yet until the spring. I know that some students get homesick and bring some items with them that will help them out with being away from home while they...

Hi there! I'm a 17 year old girl, highschool senior, lookin' to go to UWyo for geology. I was just wonderin' how you used your degree after school? What kind of jobs or career path were you able to go down with it? Have you been able to use your knowledge for fun? Like being able to identify...

I am torn between going into a specific major relating to chemistry, like chemical engineering, or just going into a general chemistry major. On the one hand, I would have a little bit of a head start in graduate school, but on the other hand, I would have more flexibility if I realize I do not...

I’m a Freshman on College and I’m so lost on what I would need to enter Medical School. I know it can depend on where you live but there are certain requirements those types of schools like, and I want to make sure there’s a 100% possibility I get in.

I will be in college next year in the fall 0f 2026 and I want to give my roommate that I will staying with on campus a welcome or hello gift on the first day. (I just need to wait until the spring to fill out a roommate application then see who my roommate will be). Any ideas on what I could do...

I'm going into my first semesters final exams soon and want to be as prepared as possible for them.

I’m worried I won’t be able to find an internship while in college.

I understand the process of going to veterinary school, but being a zoo vet seems very niche. How do you get all the training you need to get hired for that job?

For example, the owner may have to put the pet down or it died during a surgery. How do vets confront the owners? How do the vets feel about it as well? Does it impact their mental health having to interact with the grieving owners?

What are the best west coast engineering schools and how much does that really cost? How much money will i be spending on my degree?

I'm mostly concerned that I am not pacing myself correctly for the future and that I will not be prepared enough for it. I'm mostly scared that I am not financially prepared enough for life after college.

I’m considering starting at a community college for the first two years to save money before transferring to a university. Since I hope to pursue medicine, I want to understand how medical schools view this path and whether it affects competitiveness.

I feel like everyone around me has their college major picked out, but I have no clue what I want to do. I'm also worried that I won't be able to survive properly after I move away from home.

I took several computer science classes in high school and now as a senior, I'm trying to figure out what the most strategic major choice would be between those two. Is it better to be more well-rounded or is it still smart to specifically go Cybersecurity? #Fall2025

I can only find two schools that offer this as a master's.

I'm currently a freshman in college majoring in physics. I've always had an interest in astrophysics, and I am currently enjoying applying physical principles to biology. However, I'm not sure these two disciplines overlap in any capacity, or how I can hone this into a steady career.

I just wanna know if its a growing a good field.

I'm a senior going into college next year. My goal is to major in accounting, but I'm worried about being able to manage my time well.

I'm trying to build up my college application list and am debating whether certain Ivys are worth my time.

I am a 12th grader with a strong catholic faith and I am pursuing a career in law. I enjoy music and cooking as well as reading and public speaking. I am looking to be able to have a successful career without sacrificing my beliefs

When you believe you have undiagnosed mental problems, what is the best way to talk notes? The field that I am in requires a lot of noting taking.

I make sure to put myself first, your mental comes first even it means taking an off day to yourself, and indulging in your favorite food or watching a show to make you laugh. My best reccommendation to others would be to definitely taking breaks when needed, keep up with your health, and make...

I applied to mutlipe schools but I actually want to go to my local community college and then transfer after 2 years. I did apply to my first choice but what do I do about all the other ones?

I am currently taking a gap year playing soccer in Spain and will be playing in college next year. As a student-athlete, I am curious about what I should focus on off the field as I am looking for as many opportunities to express myself throughout my college career.

My name is Kalli and I’m in 12th grade. I plan on going to Lamar for pre-law and minoring in political science. After my 4 year program I will hopefully get accepted into to UT to finish my law degree.

I'm 17 and a high school senior. I hate being asked what my goals are and where I see myself in the future because I rarely ever think deeply about it. So, it's a real problem when I want to do something like apply for a scholarship and have to write an essay about it. Am I supposed to know...

I'm on track to graduate spring 2029 and would like to begin building up a resume now so I can secure a career in the future.

I start at ETSU this upcoming fall for Digital Media, but I still am pretty undecided on what I want to do for work. I know what I think I want to do, but I don't know for certain. If I'm undecided, would it be a better idea to look at a major such as Marketing or go for one of the Digital...

I’ve settled on being an anesthesiologist, I really like medical stuff and I find it all so interesting and I love hospitals. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations I’m gonna go to Oregon state university

I am going to be an interpreter (for both Spanish and ASL) and enjoy film as well, so I am curious as to how difficult it would be to take some classes related to that interest. I love languages too, of course, but as film will not relate to my career at all, it would just be for fun. #Fall25

I am a 16-year-old high school senior in Arkansas. I have a good study routine when it comes to studying for exams for classes, but for tests such as the ACT, SAT, and AP exams, I have found it difficult to study for them. I am planning on majoring in Pre-Med and will have to take challenging...

I don't know if it is possible to blend the two, as they are both quite opposite on the career ladder. If it is, what do you see as being the pros and cons of trying to accomplish both, or just one or the other? Do you think it would be feasible to meld the two? I don't want to be another...

I want to pursue a degree in medicine. There are three medical schools within 1.5 hours from my family, thus those are the only ones to which I plan on applying. That seems reasonable to me, but when I read others' posts about med school, many students seem borderline obsessed with getting...

Currently in 12th and I'm looking through schools but the big programs are incredibly competitive and I don't know if I'm cut out compared to others applying. I'd like to apply to state schools but I've heard bigger schools give you a better chance of getting a job right after.
